Videocassette release of the 1927 silent film, commissioned to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 1917 Russian revolution. The original version was heavily censored by Stalin, but in 1967 this full restoration was made, with a music score by Shostakovich and sound effects track added.
Based on the book, Ten days that shook the world, by John Reed; released in the United States in a shorter version under that title in 1928.
