The present edition includes only the psalms given in Anglo-Saxon metrical translation (Psalms 51-150)

The authorship of the Anglo-Saxon meters of Boethius is not definitedly determined, but evidences lead to assigning the work to Alfred the Great, named as translator.

Bibliography of the Paris Psalter: p. xxxiii-xxxv; Bibliography of the meters of Boethius: p. li-lv.
